The event targets older adults, their caretakers and their families. Organizers encourage anyone involved in an older adult’s life to be part of their emergency planning process to ensure that they know what needs to be done and where their loved ones will be when disaster strikes.Topics will include: how to prepare yourself and your home for a disaster; what to do in the case of an earthquake; and how to keep your pets safe in disaster, presented by guest speaker Karen Halligan, DVM.
