3072-1: Client Casework: Family Services The purpose of this course is to introduce you to the Family Service function. You will learn the skills and tools needed to conduct an effective client interview.
3089-4: Collaborating to Ensure Effective Service Delivery The purpose of this course is to prepare Red Cross employees and volunteers to establish collaborative relationships that contribute to coordinated disaster response and help to ensure effective service delivery. This course will also prepare participants to begin conducting liaison activities in a chapter and establish a foundation upon which they can build toward a career as a liaison in the Disaster Services Human Resources (DSHR) system.
Community Disaster Education Presenters Workshop
23068-6: Community Service Overview The purpose of this basic level Disaster Services training is to provide an overview of the activities performed by the Community services group in support of a disaster relief operation.
3067-1W: Disaster Assessment Workshop ITS The purpose of this interim training is to provide an overview of the new and revised concepts, procedures, tools, and resources contained in the recently released Disaster Assessment (ARC 30-3049) document. This workshop will enable chapter disaster leadership and Disaster Assessment workers to begin to incorporate these concepts into planning, training and response activities.
Disaster Frontline Supervision&Simulation
3068-4: ERV's: Ready, Set, Roll The purpose of this basic level Disaster Services course is to prepare volunteers and employees of the Red Cross to safely and effectively use an Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) and its equipment to meet feeding and other service needs of people affected by disaster.
3071-1: Logistics: An Overview The purpose of this training is to provide basic information about the activities and processes of the Logistics function in support of an American Red Cross disaster relief operation. Participants will learn about the skills, abilities, and knowledge needed by Logistics workers and how they can get started in their local chapter.
Mass Care Overview/Shelter Operations & Management This course will provide an overview of the activities performed by the Mass Care group in support of a disaster relief operation.
3068-11: Shelter Operations The purpose of this basic level Disaster Services training is to prepare volunteers and employees of the Red Cross and other agencies to effectively and sensitively manage shelter operations as a team while meeting the needs of people displaced as a result of a disaster
3068-12: Shelter Simulation The purpose of this training is to provide participants with the opportunity to apply the knowledge, skill and abilities required to operate a successful shelter.
Working With Total Diversity Working with Total Diversity is a skills-based training courses that provides the tools for creating inclusive relationships with colleaques and clients. It focesus on the Conversational skills participants will need to be effective in working and serving in diverse communities.
